Dr Alyssa Guidozzi qualified as a medical doctor in 2011, after which she spent 2 years at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital as an intern, followed by community service at Charlottle Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. This is where she was lucky enough to spend time in the Department of Anaesthesiology and subsequently obtained her Diploma in Anaeasthesia in 2015. She spent some time as a medical officer in general surgery, as well as ENT and ICU, but her passion for anaesthesia led her to ultimately qualify as a specialist anaesthesiologist in 2021.
