Dr Craig Segal was born in Toronto Canada (Hence the strange accent).

He completed medical training at University of the Witwatersrand in 2007.

He wrote the Diploma of Anaesthesia in 2011 after Community Service but then worked as a doctor for Princess Cruises and as Medical officer in ICU at Chris Hani Baragwanath.

He then completed Specialist training and Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2018.

He spent 18 months as an Anaesthesia Consultant at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital.

He has been in full time private practice in Johannesburg since 2019.

His current interests are regional anaesthesia; anaesthesia for vascular and ENT surgery.
