Dr Makda completed his undergraduate degree at the university of the Witwatersrand in 2014 and continued his relationship with the university, obtaining his Diploma in Anaesthesia in 2017. His love for the specialty fueled him to then further his studies by completing his Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists, in 2022.
