Dr Ravid has been a Specialist Anaesthesiologist in private practice since 2015. He also worked as a consultant in academic public practice at Charlotte Maxeke Academic hospital until 2020, where he held both the Paediatric Anaesthesia and Orthopaedic Arthroplasty portfolios. Dr Ravid is registered with the HPCSA.
