Dr Kassiram has worked as a Specialist Anaesthesiologist in private practice for 9 years. Since qualifying as a medical doctor in 2003, he has trained in anaesthesia in Umtata, Durban, Ireland and Johannesburg giving a total of 16 years anaesthetic experience. He has worked in Ireland for 3 and half years, 2 years of which was spent doing emergency medicine registrar training before returning to anaesthesia. After qualifying as a specialist in 2013, he worked as a consultant at Charlotte Maxeke.
